I've loved hip-hop since I was in middle school, and in 2020 I started working as a video director called "Slam Rich." I learned video production from scratch and practiced filming techniques by shooting and producing music videos for independent rappers who were active near my hometown, and I started a YouTube channel and featured them in the music video.
Slam Hood Star provides information on the evolving scene through writers, and is a group of music video creators who are among the few in Japan who specialize in shooting hip-hop videos, supporting artists in carving out their vision for their musical activities.
